Administrative:   - Develop and maintain positive relationships with community physicians and healthcare executives with the goal of advancing quality clinical rotations for the PA program and in collaboration with the RVU College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (COM) Department of Clinical Education - Provide overarching guidance and lead the PA program clinical team in securing clinical sites/preceptors from a variety of specialty areas as requested. This includes, but is not limited to clinical preceptor outreach and retention efforts. - Monitor the PA program’s specialty specific need for clinical sites/preceptors and track recruitment efforts. - Aid in ensuring that PA students obtain the required ARC determined clinical rotations needed to obtain competency and graduate in a timely manner. - Assist and advise the PA Program Director and PA Director of Clinical Education (DOCE) with proposed changes in program clinical curriculum and policies. - Provide timey clinical updates to PA Program director and DOCE. - Participate in any needed clinical evaluation/improvement initiatives. - Participate in evaluation of clinical sites. - Participate in evaluation of student feedback regarding clinical sites and preceptors. - Participate in clinical faculty development sessions; contribute to development and/or implementation of sessions depending on area of expertise and practice environment. - Serve as a liaison to the RVU College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (COM) Department of Clinical Education on behalf of the PA program - Develop effective collaboration strategies within the PA program and the COM. - Participate in ARC-PA credentialing process and clinical requirements. Teaching: - Participates in learner assessment during didactic and/or clinical phases of the program - Deliver curricular content within the PA program, including, but not limited to: - Serving as lecturer, and/or small group facilitator, if requested Service: - Participate in PA program Committee meetings and annual retreat. - Participate in PA admissions review and selection processes. - Participate in media and public relations activities to promote the RVU PA program and its community.
