- Works with IT Manager to perform system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, VMWare, Microsoft SQL Server, IT security best practices, infrastructure monitoring tools, and cloud applications. - Trains technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired. - Redesign and configuration of operating systems and systems applications. Library Leadership Component (60%): - Advocate for library services and resources that support teaching, learning, and research in the disciplines relevant to the degree programs offered by the University. - Develop strategic plans to meet the current and future needs of library users, including on-campus and off-campus students, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni. - Manage some daily aspects of the Montana-based Library Coordinator.
