- Serves as a member of the Admissions Team. Assists as needed with data entry and data management systems including all telephone, written and email inquiries, CAS applications, decisions, final transcripts and letters of recommendation. Assists as needed with entering admissions decisions into Jenzabar and WebAdmit. - Serves as primary on and off campus advisor. Works in conjunction with the Admissions Team to ensure a coordinated RVU recruitment process on the Montana Campus. Responsible for visiting colleges and universities in and out of state, to represent MCOM/RVU-Montana Campus programs for the purpose of student recruitment. Provides written reports summarizing each visit with scheduled follow-up. - Conducts campus tours. In conjunction with the Director of Admissions and Recruitment, organizes combined Virtual and on-campus Admissions Workshops for prospective students. Coordinates on-campus/Virtual Open House events. - Assists in coordination and facilitation of candidate interview day, including but not limited to, processing all documents and candidate files, communicating with candidates and interviewers prior to and on interview day, tracking of waivers, white coats, and giving closing information regarding possible acceptance to candidates. Assists in training Faculty for interviews. Prepares interview grid for Admissions Committee meetings. Hosts virtual interview days as needed. Interact in a friendly, informative and professional manner. - Maintains knowledge of university academic programs, admissions standards, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and student life. - Demonstrates a positive applicant/student customer service attitude and maintains a positive attitude that will promote a healthy cultural climate in the Admissions Department. - Communicates with College Health Professions Advisors to assist with the recruitment of students. Maintain a current list of Advisors and contact information. Builds and maintains on-going relationships with collegiate admissions advisors and other COM counselors.

- Provide coordination, oversight, and direction of Tracks and Electives within the COM Curriculum. This includes recruitment and training of faculty and staff, as well as curricular planning, development and implementation. - Mange TE course syllabi and evaluations and provide timely feedback to TE Course Directors. - Assist the Assistant Dean for Preclinical Education in planning, developing, and managing the budget and all allocated resources related to TE operations. - Provide service to the university community and students through serving on COM and department committees, providing leadership, mentorship, and expertise, participating in community outreach events and working with professional organizations or groups as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Preclinical Education. - Participate in curriculum development, assessment and modification as a part of the college’s ongoing quality improvement and assessment program. - Participate in teaching in other COM courses or educational activities as requested by the Assistant Dean of Preclinical Education. - Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity by recruiting, hiring, and retaining diverse talent within an atmosphere of access, equity, and inclusion. - Represent RVU with positivity and integrity in collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to help accomplish the mission of the University. - Serve as an active participant on various committees or task forces or other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Preclinical Education

- Provide oversight, direction and guidance for all SIMS personnel to ensure all academic responsibilities and job functions are achieved with the highest level of professionalism to accomplish the RVU and MCOM mission statements. - Provide leadership to team with regular feedback, assessments, performance evaluations, and performance improvement actions. The Director is responsible for recruiting, developing, advancing and retaining department personnel aligned with the RVU core values. - Lead the development of simulation courses and training sessions for medical students and a spectrum of other healthcare learners.  - Develop a cost-effective annual department budget and effectively manage all allocated resources of the department and all unexpected expenses of the department in adherence to RVU policies and procedures. - Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity by recruiting, hiring, and retaining diverse and quality talent within an atmosphere of access, equity, and inclusion. - Work in partnership with the Department of Pre-Clinical Education and Department of Clinical Education to ensure delivery of simulation activities within a cohesive curriculum plan and execution. - Keep current in the latest simulation industry advances and participate actively in simulation organizations representing RVU.  - Oversee the maintenance of the equipment in the MCOM Simulation Center and assuring adequate supplies for simulation courses and activities. - Assist in the marketing of the MCOM Simulation Center to outside groups, such as other universities and colleges, residency programs, first responder organizations, and other potential community partners. - Direct the education and instruction of medical students and other health care professional learners in the MCOM Simulation Center while providing mentorship and motivation for learning in research and scholarly activity through active learning groups, laboratory experience and research opportunities. - Participate in simulation delivery and the assessment and evaluation of students, residents and other health care professionals in the MCOM Simulation Center by providing feedback and remedial assistance to ensure that the learners meet the competency standards established by the faculty and college. - Participate in curriculum development, assessment and modification as a part of RVU’s ongoing quality improvement and assessment program. - Represent RVU with positivity and integrity in collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to help accomplish the mission of the University. - Serve as an active participant on various committees or task forces or other duties as assigned by the Dean.
