Administrative: - Contribute to the Program’s continuous process of self-assessment to ensure quality of the clinical curriculum, in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Education, Medical Director-Clinical, and Program Director. - Assist in developing clinical sites and preceptors for the PA program and in collaboration with members of RVU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) when possible. - Assist the Director of Clinical Education in the clinical rotation scheduling process to ensure learners are placed in required rotations and in compliance with accreditation requirements. - Assist in ensuring compliance with accreditation standards related to the didactic and clinical phases of the program. - Establish, implement, and monitor required clinical tracking components. - Monitor student clinical progress toward achieving program outcomes and competencies. - Establish regular clinical student site visits in collaboration with the PA Clinical Team. - Perform regular and “as needed” clinical phase visits, evaluating and documenting student performance and providing regular updates to Program faculty. - Contribute to the mid-year and annual evaluations of staff members supporting the clinical phase. - Assist in development and implementation of Simulated clinical encounters associated with the early, mid, and late phases of clinical training to ensure alignment of competencies across the curriculum and in collaboration with the Curriculum and Student Assessment Committees.   Teaching: - Serve as course director in pre-clinical and clinical phase courses, ensuring integration of didactic and clinical phase content. - Develop and deliver lectures, laboratories, and small group interactive sessions through varied delivery methods. - Develop, implement, and score competency-based assessments. - Serve as faculty advisor to assigned PA students. Service: - Serve on PA program and University committees according to professional interest and assigned duties. - Attend PA Program faculty meetings, retreats, and accreditation-related events. - Participate in the PA Program’s admissions process. - Participate in activities of state, regional, and national organizations to promote a positive image of the PA concept within academic, lay, and professional communities.
