The Facilities & Grounds Senior Technician – RVU Ranch supports the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of Rocky Vista University's 40-acre ranch property. Reporting to the Manager of Facilities & Grounds, this role is responsible for maintaining barns, arenas, pastures, and related infrastructure, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all facility users. The Senior Technician oversees grounds and equipment upkeep, coordinates repairs, and ensures the property meets university standards for safety, cleanliness, and reliability.
Participate in teaching, service, and scholarly activities for RVU-MCOM in Billings, Montana. Teaching responsibilities will include – teaching foundational clinical and surgical knowledge, skills, reasoning, and attitudes to students throughout the MCOM curriculum, with an emphasis in osteopathic principles and practices.
Ensures efficient health center operations by performing a variety of medical office front desk responsibilities.
Under the leadership of the Director of Tracks & Electives, provides coordinated leadership and programmatic support across two complimentary areas of responsibility: guiding and mentoring students within the RVU_MCOM Military Medicine Track, and contributing to broader Tracks & Electives Initiatives. This full-time position blends direct student engagement with strategic administrative functions, ensuring that military- affiliated learners-particularly those in health the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)-receive the guidance, preparation, and resources needed for academic success, leadership development, and clinical readiness. In close collaboration with the Director of Military Medicine, the Coordinator serves as the primary on campus contact for military affiliated students while also supporting cross departmental projects, events, and educational activities that advance RVU-MCOM's mission in military healthcare education within the broader Tracks & Electives framework. This position reports directly to the Director of Tracks & Electives and works in close operational partnership with the Director of Military Medicine. The Military Medicine Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that all activities, programs, and initiatives are aligned with the vision, goals, and strategic priorities established by the Director of Tracks & Electives while fostering effective collaboration with faculty, staff, and external partners.
Participate in OPP teaching and related clinical activities at RVUCOM-SU.
Demonstrate experience and expertise in Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) in the context of clinical education for pre-doctoral students, provide service to the university and professional communities and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical knowledge.
Adjunct Faculty will participate in lab-based teaching activities at RVU-MCOM campus in Billings, Montana. Responsibilities include teaching foundational clinical knowledge, skills, reasoning, and attitudes of students throughout the MCOM curriculum.
Demonstrate experience and expertise in biomedical or clinical education for predoctoral and/or postdoctoral students, provide service to the university and professional communities and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical knowledge.
This position involves teaching a small group of first-or second-year medical students one-half day per week on either a Monday or Wednesday afternoon. Adjunct faculty must be physicians. The typical week involves 4 hours with students and 2 hours grading SOAP notes and providing feedback
