The military medicine program associate director will preferably be located on the Utah campus and co-coordinate the development, implementation, delivery, and assessment of military medicine-related curriculum throughout all four years of medical student education and training. Mentors and advocates for student participants in the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). Provide administrative support to the Military Medicine program director and the program students on both Colorado and Utah campuses. Initiates, coordinates, directs original research, supports other projects and activities directly related to the military medicine program.
To proctor written/electronic examinations. Assists with internal (RVU) and external placement tests (other institutions, agencies) and course exams. Onsite with the occasional opportunity for remote work.
Participate in OPP teaching and related clinical activities at RVUCOM-SU.
Demonstrate experience and expertise in Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) in the context of clinical education for pre-doctoral students, provide service to the university and professional communities and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical knowledge.
Adjunct Faculty will participate in lab-based teaching activities at RVU-MCOM campus in Billings, Montana. Responsibilities include teaching foundational clinical knowledge, skills, reasoning, and attitudes of students throughout the MCOM curriculum.
