SALARY:

 

$22.63 - $24.00+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range.  The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose

The Enrollment Coordinator at Rocky Vista University plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of the admissions process, focusing processing, planning, and organizing files to ensure enrollment funnel progression. This position involves effective communication with prospective students via phone, email, and texting, coordinating onsite tours, scheduling interviews, and overseeing applicant requirement confirmation. The Enrollment Coordinator also supports administrative needs, including clerical and organizational tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  • Admissions Process Management:
    • Process and organize applicant files to ensure efficient and accurate progression through the enrollment funnel.
    • Coordinate and monitor the status of applicant documents and requirements.
  • Communication with Prospective Students:
    • Engage with prospective students through various communication channels, including phone, email, and texting.
    • Provide timely and accurate information about the admissions process, program offerings, and campus life.
    • Coordinate and schedule onsite tours for prospective students.
    • Facilitate the scheduling and conducting of interviews as part of the admissions process.
  • Applicant Requirement Confirmation:
    • Oversee the confirmation of applicant requirements, ensuring that all necessary documents and information are submitted.
    • Communicate effectively with applicants to guide them through the submission process.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide clerical and organizational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the admissions office.
    • Collaborate with other departments to maintain cohesive operations.
    • Assist in coordinating and participating in events such as open houses, campus tours, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and admissions-related activities.
    • Prepare reports and contribute insights based on data analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Enrollment Management team, Marketing, and Event leaders to ensure alignment of messaging and processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in admissions policies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and enrollment management.
  • Ability to represent the university professionally at events.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with admissions software and CRM systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2)+ years of administrative experience (or similar) in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in any field.
  • One (1) - two (2) years of experience in a administrative, coordination, or a related role.
